Test manager with SDAC and SIDC experience

The CCR Hansa project aims to fulfill legal requirements for capacity calculation in the region, focusing on Phase II and IIb, which will go live by the end of 2025. The Test Manager will lead test planning, starting in 2024, and oversee testing tasks in spring, coordinating with European groups like SIDC and SDAC.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading a Test Task Force and conducting tests in structured phases (FIT, SIT, SIDC, SDAC).
• Coordination with stakeholders and ensuring alignment with European test plans.
• Continuous improvement of test plans and resource management.
• Reporting test status and challenges to the Steering Committee (SC).

The role demands expertise in SDAC/SIDC test processes and stakeholder management. Access to critical Nordic RCC systems is restricted, requiring adherence to strict data-sharing guidelines.

Proven Abilities:

• Conduct testing with solid expertise in:
  • Software functional testing.
  • Technical tests (e.g., smoke tests, system and integration, regression testing).
  • Functional tests (e.g., user acceptance, trial).
  • Non-functional testing.
• Define test cases, scripts, and runbooks.
• Break down requirements into test cases and ensure all requirements, including quality, are met.
• Document test procedures and results; share summaries with the Steering Committee (SC).
• Collaborate with project managers to plan, adjust, and ensure resource availability in advance.
• Plan and manage test environments for all parties.
• Fulfill the test plan by tracking and resolving defects, re-testing, and coordinating with suppliers.
• Document all tests, processes, and results.

Experience in Nordic Energy Sector:

• Preferable experience with:
  • TSOs and NEMOs.
  • ENTSO-E.
  • RCCs.
  • CCRs.
  • MCSC.

Understanding of Heavily Regulated Sectors:

• Knowledge of NRAs and ACER requirements is ideal.

Proven Expertise in:

• European regulation: CACM and capacity calculation requirements.
• Developing and coordinating test plans in SDAC and SIDC for Nordic/European projects.
• Managing roles involving conflicting stakeholder interests and resolving conflicts effectively.
